* Novalac Hydrolyzed is a formula based on a hydrolyzed protein (casein) from cow's milk, specially designed for the dietary treatment of infants and children with allergies to cow's milk proteins.
* Novalac Hydrolyzed is part of a complete range of products specially developed to meet the nutritional needs of babies.
* The pediatrician will indicate the most appropriate feeding guidelines for the baby.
* However, the following guideline may be helpful.
* Carbohydrates:
- Lactose and sucrose free.
- 66% maltodextrins and 34% corn starch.
* Proteins:
- Extensively hydrolyzed cow's milk proteins.
- 100% casein-based hydrolyzate, with 96% of the peptides being less than 1000 daltons in size and 100% being less than 2000 daltons.
* Lipids:
- Contains medium chain triglycerides and essential fatty acids.
* Osmolarity:
- 179 mOsm/l.
* Pleasant taste and smell.
* Presentation: Hydrolyzed Novalac 400 g.
* Important notice:
- Breast milk is the ideal food for infants, for which proper nutrition of the mother is essential.
- It should always be used under the supervision of a pediatrician and only in children who present symptoms for which it is indicated.
- Novalac Hydrolysate should be excluded from the diet of healthy children and should not be administered in cases of galactosemia, as well as in cases of glucose and/or galactose malabsorption.
- Novalac Hydrolyzed is an infant milk suitable for feeding children from birth to 36 months, when not breastfeeding.
- Novalac Hydrolyzed can be used as an exclusive food until 6 months, and also as part of a diversified diet in children over 6 months.
- Premature babies, low birth weight babies, or immunosuppressed babies should be evaluated by a pediatrician beforehand.
- Follow your pediatrician's instructions and do not introduce products containing dairy proteins (e.g., cereals with milk, dairy products, etc.) into your baby's regular diet without their consent.
- Do not change formulas without the advice of a pediatrician.
