Miniature version of our shampoo bar for dry / damaged hair with nettle and tamanu oil. SOLIDU GRANDMA SAID Solid Shampoo uses two magical hair care ingredients: nettle and tamanu oil. It intensely hydrates and conditions, and is perfect for weak hair that needs more volume. In Lithuania and nearby regions, we have long used nettle decoctions to stimulate hair growth, improve hair shine and appearance. To make GRANDMA SAID we use powdered organic nettle leaves. Native to Southeast Asia, tamanu oil is a great source of hair nutrients, used to regenerate and restore hair and scalp to a healthy state. At GRANDMA SAID we use it cold pressed and unrefined, with a very thick consistency and full of aroma: it naturally smells of freshly cut grass and raw nuts. This brownish-green oil is extracted from the tamanu nut and is rich in nutrients (such as linoleic, oleic, palmitic and stearic acids). Due to its properties, tamanu oil is often used on brittle, chemically treated and weak hair. We ended up adding cedar, rosemary and juniper essential oils that stimulate the scalp and give GRANDMA SAID shampoo its woody, resinous scent. The product can be used by vegans.
