It is one of the vegetable oils richest in linolenic acid (omega 3), an essential fatty acid that we must provide to our body through food. It has anti-inflammatory and healing properties and thus this oil is used for skin irritations (dermatitis, eczema, allergies). Highly recommended orally as a substitute for linseed oil, although it is not recommended to heat it so as not to lose its properties.
