Black radish, also called Parisian or large gray horseradish, is part of the Brassicaceae family with one taproot.
It contains glucosinolates but also raphanine, vitamin C, pro-vitamin B group, mineral and in particular potassium. Made from an ancient vegetable it can reach up to 80 cm in height. Its white or pink flowers, with four crossed petals, are united in clusters.
